Analyst in Patent firms

Evaluates patentability and infringement, performing searches to determine if a new drug invention is novel and to ensure it does not infringe on existing patents;

Performs freedom-to-Operate (FTO) analysis, assisting in analyzing patents to determine if a company can legally market a new drug in a specific territory;

Conducts technical and scientific analysis, summarizing patent content, identifying key areas of interest, and analyzing the technical and scientific aspects of pharmaceutical innovations;

Furnishes strategic support to help with R&D, IP procurement, due diligence, and business development by understanding competitor landscapes and identifying potential partners;

Supports patent drafting, performing background searches, and helping to interpret technical documents.
Consultant
Accelerates the innovation cycle, ensuring new therapies reach patients faster, furnishing specialized advice to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare companies to develop and bring to market innovative products, and providing strategic guidance on R&D, clinical trials, market strategy, and regulatory compliance
Assessor of technologies
Evaluates and defines within Health Technology Assessment (HTA) "innovativeness" for new pharmaceutical products (novelty, therapeutic benefit, clinical evidence, assessment of a significant unmet need) to determine if a drug offers a "step-change" or substantial improvement compared to existing treatments.
